On the 23rd of January, Jack Rodgers competed at the event King of the Mountain located in Taranaki at Barrett Park. Jack raced in the 13-16 85cc class, the track was very wet in the morning and turned very dusty towards the afternoon, creating two tracks different tracks for the riders. Jack qualified 2nd fasted in practice giving him a good chance to get a good pick. It wasn’t Jacks day and had two bad races (DNF (Did not Finish) leaving him 15th overall out of large class of 22 riders.
