Well Done to Jack Rodgers, who won Northland Champs for the 13-16 years 85cc class, Northland champs consisted of 3 rounds all held by Motorcycle clubs in Northland, where riders from around Northland traveled to compete.
Jack Rodgers and Kalem Fowlie were tied for 1st place going into the last round of Northland champs for the 13-16 years 85cc class, but Jack was the overall winner who took his 2016 Kawasaki KX 85 to finish 1st overall. Jack was very happy about his achievement – This is only my second year of racing competitive motocross, I cant thank enough my parents and my sister who have driven me around the north island so I can comptete in this events, I also cant do with out the help from my sponsors, – Allens auto services, CFX seats NZ, Selwyn at Carrfields livestock, Peter and Penny at the Gables Lakefront Motel and most of all the team at Warkworth Motorcycles, they always have my bike setup and race ready, without the help of these people I wouldn’t be achieving the results I have been getting.
Jacks next events are the upcoming King of the Mountain in Taranaki and NZ junior motocross champs in April, we wish you the very best.
